KINGSVILLE, TEXAS (News Release) - As the City of Kingsville celebrated its Tree Lighting Ceremony, the local Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program was also given reason to celebrate as it received a generous $2,000 donation from event sponsor Lyte Fiber on Friday, Nov. 21.
"Lyte Fiber is proud to support the 2025 Toys for Tots Kleberg/Kenedy County & City of Bishop campaign with this $2,000 donation,” said Lyte Fiber Coastal Bend regional manager Juli Blanda. "The holiday season is about more than just celebration; it's about coming together to ensure every child in our community experiences the joy and magic this time of year brings. As a company deeply rooted in the Coastal Bend, we believe in giving back to the families and communities we serve. Supporting Toys for Tots allows us to make a meaningful difference in the lives of local children, and we're honored to play a part in brightening their holidays.”
Lyte Fiber’s donations and all other proceeds will go towards serving the economically disadvantaged children in Kleberg and Kenedy county, as well as the City of Bishop this holiday season.
“We’re incredibly grateful to Lyte Fiber for their generous support,” said Toys for Tots local coordinator Krystal Emery. “Their contribution goes straight into putting real joy in the hands of children here in our community. Every dollar helps us reach more families, and this donation will make a meaningful difference for kids who deserve a bright holiday.”
