COASTAL BEND - The following list of schools will be canceling or delaying classes ahead of winter weather.
BISHOP CISD said at that all schools will be closed on Friday, January 21. School will resume on Monday, January 24.
Corpus Christi ISD will have a two-hour delay on Friday, January 21. The Elementary school will start at 9:50 a.m. while middle and high school campuses will start at 10:50 a.m. Thursday and Friday dismissal is scheduled to be the same, along with extracurricular activities unless instructed otherwise.
KINGSVILLE ISD will be closed on Friday, January 21 due to concerns about ice on roads from the winter freeze.
Riviera ISD UPDATED 2:18 pm - School will be closed on Friday, January 21.
Original post from Riviera ISD - Riviera ISD will delay the start of school Friday, January 21 due to the potential freezing weather to 10 am. Bus pick up will be delayed as well on Friday. Riviera Beach and the West side of Riviera will start the bus route at 8:15 am. Kingsville bus pickup will start at 8:45 am and will leave at 9:05 am. The Ricardo bus route will start at 9:20 am.
Santa Gertrudis will be closed on Friday, January 21 and will resume classes on Monday January 24.
UPDATED 2:40 pm - Texas A&M University Kingsville will have a two-hour delayed start on Friday, Jan. 21, 2022. Normal campus operations will begin at 10 a.m.
