La Posada de Kingsville 2024 - Recap
KINGSVILLE, TEXAS - The 34th annual La Posada de Kingsville parade took place on December 7, 2024, in conjunction with the annual Children’s Day festival and a holiday wine walk prior to the parade.
This year, the parade featured 84 floats with each one illuminated with hundreds to thousands of lights as they made their way along the parade route in downtown Kingsville.
The La Posada de Kingsville Committee posthumously honor Benito "Benny" Guerra as the Grand Marshal of the La Posada Parade.
Local high school marching bands from surrounding communities and various non-profit and businesses participated in the annual parade.
Earlier in the week, the La Posada de Kingsville organizers hosted, a holiday bake off at the Kingsville visitors center and a wreath contest at the Kingsville train depot.
