Kingsville Woman Arrested on Health Care Fraud Charge

KINGSVILLE, TEXAS - A 64-year-old Kingsville woman was arrested early Friday on a felony health care fraud charge, according to the Kleberg County Sheriff’s Office.
Noelia G. Steele was booked into the Kleberg County Jail at approximately 12:18 a.m. on May 1, 2026. She is charged with health care fraud involving an amount greater than $150,000 but less than $300,000. Her bond was set at $20,000.
Records list Steele as the president and owner of Steele Home Medical Equipment, Inc., a company that provides durable medical equipment and supplies. The business offers items such as blood glucose monitors, canes, crutches, CPAP machines, hospital beds and respiratory equipment, including products eligible for Medicare reimbursement.
Authorities have not released additional details regarding the circumstances of the investigation or the specific allegations tied to the charge.
The case remains under investigation.
