Kingsville Man Arrested for Driving Wrong

BANQUETE, TEXAS (News Release) - At around 11 pm on Friday, July 10, 2026, Precinct 5 deputies were dispatched to Hwy 44 near Banquete for a vehicle traveling east in the westbound lane.

Callers then advised the vehicle had turned around and was now headed west in the eastbound lane.

A concerned citizen followed the vehicle until it parked near the Shell station and waited for deputies to arrive. The driver, 38 year-old Brian Alexander of Kingsville, was arrested for DWI.
