Interact Club of Academy High School Raise Funds for Cancer Research

Submitted Item

The Interact Club of Academy High School spent last month raising Quarters for Cancer from the community. In May they raised $934 to make a grand total of $1868 for Cancer research through the Triumph Over Kid Cancer Foundation.

These youth were elected officers in November 2020 as the first Interact Club sponsored by the Rotary Club of Kingsville.  Since then, they’ve been hard at work supporting Kingsville, first by raising cold weather clothes ahead of the February freeze and now by raising funds to help combat cancer.
