Illegal Oil Dump in Kingsville

KINGSVILLE (News Release) - The City of Kingsville is seeking information that may lead to the identification of the individual(s) responsible for illegally dumping ten barrels of oil and trash on Young Drive between Wednesday night and Thursday morning. The barrels left behind are an eyesore and pose potential hazard to residents and nature in the surrounding area. Public works crews have now removed the barrels, and both police and code enforcement are asking for public assistance to identify those responsible. City of Kingsville residents may dispose of up to 300 pounds of waste or trash per day at no charge at the city landfill located at 348 East County Road 2130. Oil is not authorized for disposal at this site. Oil is considered a hazardous material.
