ALICE, TEXAS - (News Release) Holiday safety tips from the Alice Police Department.

• Keep all car doors locked and windows closed.

• Do not leave packages or valuables in the car, if you must, hide them.

• Large displays of holiday presents should not be visible through any window of your home.

• Make arrangements if you are having packages delivered. Maybe have them delivered to your work or require a signature.

• If you have surveillance equipment make sure it works and routinely check the system.

• Label outdoor decorations discreetly.

• Notify local police department if you are going to be out of town for a routine security check.

• See something, say something. Report any suspicious activity.
