H.M. King DECA Students Advance to State Competition

KINGSVILLE, TEXAS (News Release) - On Friday, January 12, 2024, the University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley hosted the DECA, formerly Distributive Education Clubs of America, District 1 Career Development Conference.

More than 560 high school business students from Laredo to Corpus Christi participated in engaging business competitive events.

H.M. King DECA students competed at the District One Career Development Conference at the University of Texas in the Rio Grande Valley.

Julian Cantu, Sadie Cortez, Bianca Mechell, and Laya Rosas advanced to state competition round.
