KINGSVILLE (News Release) - Thomas “Beau” Best, born April 24, 1983, and died September 29, 2019, was a son to his parents Tom and Glenda Best, a brother to his sisters Nicole and Michelle, a husband to his wife Haylea, and a father to his son Thomas III. He was a businessman, a sportsman, and most importantly a Christian. Beau left so many memories to be cherished by his family and friends. The garden will honor his life and his legacy.

In memory of Beau, an initial gift of $50,000 was given to First Baptist Church in Kingsville by an anonymous donor. This led to the conception and design of a public prayer walk/garden that will includes a 1/10th mile seven-foot-wide concrete walkway garnished with twelve Scripture stones, eleven sitting benches, and beautiful landscaping.
