Future Boxing Olympians to Compete

CORPUS CHRISTI (News Release) – The City of Corpus Christi is excited to welcome a record number of amateur boxers to the American Bank Center this weekend. Over 400 Junior Olympic hopefuls from across the state will converge on our “Sparkling City by the Sea” as they compete for gold medals and the chance to represent the USA at the Junior Olympics.

The City last hosted the USA Boxing South Texas Junior Olympic Tournament in 1991. Boxers ages 8 to 16 will compete in the three-day tournament. The City invites you to attend this exciting event and cheer on these future Olympians.
