Firefighter on Administrative Leave after Arrest

CORPUS CHRISTI – Rey Rabagos, a Corpus Christi firefighter and the owner and operator of Coastal Bend CPR is on administrative leave after being arrested by the Corpus Christi Police Department.

Fire Chief Robert Rocha said the arrest resulted from an investigation conducted by Child Protective Services (CPS). Rocha said the alleged incident did not occur while the employee was on duty as a Corpus Christi firefighter. CPS has turned the case over to the Corpus Christi Police Department.

Rabagos has been working as a local Firefighter and Paramedic for the last 20 years.
