Emergency Crews Respond to Fire at Valero West Refinery

CORPUS CHRISTI (News Release) – Firefighting units responded to a fire inside the Valero West Refinery at 5900 Up River Road in the Annaville area yesterday.

As a precaution, a portion of Up River Road was closed. The Corpus Christi Fire Department (CCFD), the Refinery Terminal Fire Company, and Valero emergency crews were on the scene.

The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) and the CCFD are monitoring air quality as a result of the fire.
