Structure Fire Forced Nearby Day Care to Evacuate
Naval Air Station Corpus Christi Fire and Emergency Services
CORPUS CHRISTI (News Release) - NAS Corpus Christi Fire & Emergency Services crews responded to a structure fire just off base with Corpus Christi Fire Department and ESD#2 yesterday, July 18, 2023.
At approximately 4:30 pm the nearby Small World Childcare, located at 1070 NAS Drive, was evacuated due to how close in proximity the fire was to the childcare center.
There has been no update on the cause of the structure fire.
