Local Law Enforcement Find Female Victim of Alleged Kidnapping Near Bishop

BISHOP (News Release) - On Wednesday, June 8, at approximately 6:09 PM, Deputies with Precinct #3 Nueces County Constable's Office and the Bishop Police Department were dispatched to assist the Texas Highway Patrol on a pedestrian stop in the 500 block of South U.S. Highway 77.

It was discovered that a female who had been stopped, was an alleged victim of a robbery, assault, and kidnapping. The female was interviewed at a local medical facility where she was being treated and told Deputy Constables the suspects name.

The following day, an arrest warrant for Adrian Lee Hernandez of Corpus Christi was issued.

Nueces County District Attorney’s Office - Criminal Interdiction Unit located Hernandez at an address on Laredo Street in Corpus Christi.

Hernandez was placed under arrest and booked into the Nueces County Jail with the following charges: Aggravated Robbery, Aggravated Kidnapping, and Aggravated Assault Date/Family/Household Member with a Weapon.
