Female Injured in Accident

KINGSVILLE - (News Release) KPD officers responded to a serious accident at 10 PM on Sunday evening, in the 1000 block of East General Cavazos Blvd. Witnesses reported that a 75-year-old female was parked at the westbound stop light at General Cavazos and Brahma Blvd. The female's driver-side door was open, and she began reversing. She fell from her vehicle, a 2016 Nissan Frontier, and was run over by the front tire of the Frontier. The vehicle continued rolling and ended up in a culvert on the north side of the road. There were no passengers in the pickup. Kingsville Fire Department responded. The female was transported to Christus Spohn Hospital-Shoreline, by Halo-Flight. She remains in serious condition.
