Authorities Investigating Fatal Workplace Accident at Kingsville AEP Facility
KINGSVILLE, TEXAS - A 63-year-old Laredo man died Friday morning in a workplace accident at the AEP Texas facility in Kingsville, according to the Kingsville Police Department.
Police said Cervelio Garcia Guzman, 63, had just delivered equipment in a tractor-trailer when he became pinned underneath the trailer at about 10:33 am Friday, March 13.
Authorities said an employee of AEP discovered Garcia Guzman about five minutes later.
Nueces County Justice of the Peace Precinct 1 Judge Gonzalez ordered an autopsy.
The incident remains under investigation.
