Family Disturbance Leads to an Arrest

ALICE, TEXAS - (News Release) On Sept. 5th, the Alice Police Department responded to the area N. Almond regarding a family disturbance involving a firearm. According to witnesses, several gun shots were heard coming from the home where the disturbance was occurring. Alice Police arrived and made contact a female who advised that Patricio Duran was inside the home and threatened to shoot her car. After gathering information the female was placed In a patrol car for her safety. Shortly after, Duran was arrested and transported to the Jim Wells County Jail where he was charged with Aggravated Assault and resisting arrest.
