Three Arrested on Drug Charges Following Search Warrant in Ingleside School Zone

INGLESIDE, TEXAS (News Release) - Three people were arrested on drug charges after authorities executed a search and arrest warrant at a residence in Ingleside on Thursday.

According to the San Patricio County Sheriff’s Office, investigators with the Criminal Investigation Division, assisted by the Sheriff’s Office Tactical Response Team and the Ingleside Police Department, served the warrant at a home on Houston Street located within a school zone.

During the operation, law enforcement officers reportedly recovered controlled substances from the residence.

Authorities arrested three occupants of the home, identified as 64-year-old Allen Ray Spriggs, 67-year-old Carrie Elrod, and 28-year-old Justice Iris Gonzalez. All three were charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance.

The suspects were transported to the San Patricio County Jail, where they remained in custody as of Friday.

The Sheriff’s Office has not released additional details regarding the type or quantity of controlled substances recovered, and the investigation remains ongoing.
