Drowning Victims Recovered from Lake Corpus Christi State Park

CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS - (News Release) Update: the 4 year old and 29 year old bodies have been recovered.
On Nov. 3rd at Lake Corpus Christi State Parks. Calls started coming in yesterday afternoon of 5 victims in distress at Catfish Cove. A 2 year old boy, a 20 yr old female plus an 18 yr old male were rescued but sadly a 4 year old boy & a 29 year old male did not surface. Texas Parks & Wildlife, San Patricio Co Sheriff’s Office, Constable Pct 6, Sandia Fire Dept & Mathis Fire Dept came out to search for the missing victims. Late that night the crews suspended their search & resumed the next morning at sunrise. Lake water levels are extremely low but safety is paramount when swimming in unknown areas.
