CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS (News Release) – The City of Corpus Christi reminds all residents that Stage 3 drought restrictions remain in effect until further notice.

“Water conservation remains a critical priority for our community,” said Corpus Christi Water Chief Operating Officer Drew Molly. “We appreciate residents’ continued cooperation as we navigate these drought conditions.”

Stage 3 Water Restrictions Include:

·        No lawn watering allowed

·        Drip irrigation for foundations and garden beds is permitted every other week on your scheduled watering day only

·        Hand watering of trees, vegetable gardens, shrubs, and potted plants is allowed any day with a handheld hose with a shutoff valve, five (5) gallon bucket, or watering can (limited to before 10:00 a.m. and after 6:00 p.m.)

·        Swimming pools can be maintained but must have covers when not in use

·        Home car washing is limited to using a five (5) gallon bucket on your scheduled watering day only

Watering Schedule

Residents are reminded to follow the rotating biweekly watering schedule for permitted drip irrigation and car washing. The schedule is determined by area, and residents can check their designated watering day by:

·        Entering their address in the online tool if unsure about their designated area
