Driver Doing Burnouts Arrested

CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS - (News Release) On Sunday, April 27, 2025, at 4:19pm, officers were dispatched to the 600 block of N. Shoreline Blvd at the Peoples T-Head in reference to a major traffic accident. 

Officers arrived and found that the driver of a pickup was doing burnouts when he lost control of his vehicle and struck two parked vehicles. One child, who was sitting outside of one of the parked vehicles, received minor injuries from the collision, and was treated at the scene by medics (not transported). 

The driver, 19-year-old Arnulfo Gonzalez, was arrested for reckless driving and transported to the City Detention Center for booking. His vehicle was impounded.
