Driver Arrested 2nd Time for Reckless Driving

CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS (News Release) - On Tuesday, April 9, 2025, at 10:16pm, officers observed a motorcycle traveling eastbound on the 4000 block of Ocean Drive at a high rate of speed, passing numerous vehicles and dangerously accelerating through curves. The posted speed limit is 45mph and officers observed the vehicle traveling 60-80mph, well over the posted speed limit.  

27-year-old Joshua Martinez.

Officers conducted a traffic stop on the motorcyclist and placed 27-year-old Joshua Martinez into custody for reckless driving. He was transported to the City Detention Center for booking and his motorcycle was impounded. This is the second time Martinez has been arrested for reckless driving.
