Disturbance with a Weapon

CORPUS CHRIST, TEXAS (News Release) - On July 8, 2026 at 10:43 am, Officers with the Corpus Christi Police Department were dispatched to the 4500 block of Moravian Dr in reference to a Disturbance with Injuries.
When Officers arrived they located a male with life threatening injuries and immediately began administering first aid until Medics arrived.
Due to the nature of the call, Detectives with CCPD’s Criminal Investigations Division were called to the scene. After preliminary investigation, it was determined that a disturbance with a weapon occurred and the male was hit by a vehicle during the course of the incident. Multiple people were detained on scene by Officers and will be transported to Main Station to be formally interviewed.
The male was transported to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The parties are known to each other. This is an isolated incident and an active and ongoing investigation.
