Detective Sarah Torres appointed to Bishop PD’s C.I.D

BISHOP, TEXAS - (News Release) DEDICATION & PROFESSIONALISM: The Bishop Police Department would like to invite you to join us in congratulating Detective Sarah Torres on her recent selection and appointment to Bishop Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division (C.I.D).

Detective Torres is a dedicated law enforcement professional, with just over 8 years of prior experience. She began her law enforcement career as a correctional officer at Jim Hogg County Sheriff’s Office and later attended Laredo College Police Academy, where she obtained her Peace Officer License. Since then Det. Torres has served in several specialized assignments throughout her law enforcement career including; Patrol Officer, Patrol Supervisor, and School Resource Officer.

Officer Torres was assigned to the Bishop Police Department’s Uniformed Patrol Division as a School Resource Officer (SRO), prior to being selected for appointment to Detective.
