Council Approves Cole Park Pier Ordinance Amendment

City of Corpus Christi

CORPUS CHRISTI – (News Release) At the March 8th regularly scheduled City Council meeting, Mayor Paulette Guajardo and the City Council approved the first reading of the Cole Park Pier ordinance amendment.

With the addition of the new Cole Park Plaza, the ordinance has been revised to include the Cole Park Plaza as part of the park. The park operating hours are 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Cole Park Pier will always remain open for fishing. The parking lot and plaza may be used to access the fishing pier after the park has closed. However, during that time, those accessing the pier will not be allowed to remain in the plaza area.

The Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department is dedicated to providing quality, affordable enrichment programs for all ages and interests. For more information about the wide variety of programs and services offered by the department, visit www.ccparkandrec.com.
