Corpus Christi Rescinds Animal Care Services Director Offer

CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS (News Release) - The City of Corpus Christi has rescinded its conditional employment offer to Dr. Antonio Caldwell for the position of Director of Animal Care Services.

The decision follows the discovery of inconsistencies regarding Dr. Caldwell’s professional achievements during the pre-employment verification process. Dr. Caldwell has since acknowledged the inconsistencies.

Animal Care Services will continue to operate under its current leadership.

The City and its executive recruiter will immediately restart a local and national search to fill the Director position.
