PETRONILA (News Release) - On January 29, 2023, at 7:41 pm Nueces County Constable Pct 3 deputies were dispatched to commercial vehicle accident located at CR 18 and CR 63.

The semi-tractor trailer was attempting to turn onto CR 18 from CR 63 when the driver missed judged the distance from the drainage ditch and resulted in the trailer falling into the drainage ditch. The trailer is loaded with approximately 25,000 lbs of concrete. No injuries were reported at this time.
Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers are investigating the accident. ESD 3 is on scene containing the fluid leak. Galvans wrecker service is responded to evaluate the recovery of the trailer and its contents.
