City Holds Successful Hiring Event at American Bank Center

CORPUS CHRISTI – (News Release) The City of Corpus Christi Human Resources Department hosted an All-City Department hiring event today at the American Bank Center in partnership with Workforce Solutions of the Coastal Bend.
Over 500 job seekers took advantage of the opportunity to network and interview with hiring managers. Close to 50 people were hired to fill one of the 270 advertised City positions, and an additional 30 people received contingency offers. Over 300 applications were submitted, and 115 people were interviewed by City hiring representatives.
Fifteen City departments took part in today’s hiring event. The next one will be held in the Fall of 2022.
