Corpus Christi City Council Candidate Packets for are Now Available

CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS — (News Release) Candidate packets for the 2024 General Election can now be picked up in person from the City Secretary’s office or viewed online.

Candidates interested in running for City Council will find forms, instruction guides, calendars, deadlines, and campaign resources in the packet.  The application and filing fee can be submitted to the City Secretary’s Office beginning Monday, July 22 and ending on Monday, August 19 no later than 5:00 p.m.

The City Secretary’s office would like to remind candidates to file a “Form CTA–Appointment of Campaign Treasurer by a Candidate” with the City Secretary’s Office prior to filing an application for a place on the ballot per Texas Election Code § 252.001.
