CORPUS CHRISTI (News Release) - City Secretary Rebecca L. Huerta reminds everyone the City election for mayor and three at-large and five district council member positions will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2022.

The filing period for Corpus Christi residents interested in running for one of these positions began Monday, July 25, 2022, and continues through Monday, August 22, 2022. Regular business hours for the City Secretary’s Office are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The 2022 Candidate Packet, which includes an application form and the requirements for filing, is available on the City Secretary’s webpage, under 2022 Election Central at www.cctexas.com or in paper form or a flash drive from the City Secretary’s Office, 1st Floor, City Hall, 1201 Leopard Street.
