Bishop PD Held an Active Shooter & Workplace Violence Training

BISHOP- (News Release) On Monday, February 21, 2022, Instructors from the Bishop Police Department and Nueces County Precinct 3 Constable’s Office put on an Active Shooter / Workplace Violence course for educators, administrators, and staff at St. Paul Lutheran Church & School. This training centered on a proactive response to active shooters and focused on lessons learned from real world events to help train these professionals on how to respond to and protect themselves and others, should the need ever arise.

The Bishop Police Department remains, “Committed to Serving Our Community” in a multitude of proactive and innovative ways, to include providing community oriented policing, crime prevention, and other training programs, such as these to members of our community.
