BISHOP (News Release) - At approximately 10:00AM on Friday, March 3, 2023, Bishop Police Department Shift I Patrol Officers were dispatched to a residence in the 500 block of E. 9th Street, for a possible Burglary -In Progress.

Upon arrival on scene, responding Officers located a male subject in the backyard of the residence and he was detained for further investigation.

Contact was eventually made with the homeowners, who stated the male subject was an ex-boyfriend of one of the residents and he was not allowed on the property.

The Reporting Party advised the male was told multiple times to leave the property, but refused and instead began removing a portion of a window A/C unit at the rear of the residence.

The suspect, later identified as 21 year old Julian Ramirez was placed under arrest for Criminal Trespass and later transported to the Nueces County Jail.
