ATM Fire at the PNC Bank

BISHOP - (News Release) At approximately 7:53AM on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, Bishop Police Department received reports of a possible fire at the PNC Bank, located at 1001 U.S. Highway 77 South, Bishop, Texas.

Bishop Police Department Patrol Officers, along with Deputies from Nueces County Precinct 3 Constable Office and ESD 3 Fire Rescue personnel responded to the scene and found the ATM was on fire and had significant damage visible.

Upon further investigation it was determined the fire was the result of an attempted burglary of the ATM machine.

Surveillance video obtained from the bank shows three (3) unidentified male subjects attempting to gain entry to the ATM machine before it caught fire.

The suspects were observed leaving the scene in a white Ford F-250 pickup truck bearing Texas LP LPJ0259.

This is an active criminal investigation by the Bishop Police Department.
