Arrest Made in Robstown Incident; One Suspect Remains at Large

ROBSTOWN, TEXAS — On May 27, 2025, deputies from Nueces County Precinct 5 responded to reports of a woman screaming in the 800 block of West Avenue E in Robstown.

Upon arrival, deputies observed a male and female walking in the area. The male subject fled the scene on foot and evaded apprehension. The female was detained and identified as Amber Salinas.

During questioning, Salinas informed deputies she had been in an argument with her boyfriend, identified as Trinidad Rayos. Salinas also disclosed that she had an outstanding warrant for her arrest. She was taken into custody without incident.

Further investigation revealed that Rayos is also wanted on an out-of-county warrant for a parole violation. At this time, he remains at large.
