Armed Forces Day Commemoration Ceremony 2025

CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS (News Release) – The City of Corpus Christi and the Committee on Veteran Affairs hosted an Armed Forces Day Commemoration Ceremony on Saturday, May 17, at 10:00 a.m. at the Ben Garza Gym, 1815 Howard Street. The ceremony was relocated from Sherrill Veterans Memorial Park due to ongoing construction at the park.
The day is dedicated to honor the brave men and women who serve in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Space Force, and Coast Guard. The ceremony includes a POW/MIA Missing Man Table, a parade of colors, representatives of veterans’ organizations and remarks from dignitaries.
