Aransas Pass Police Seek Public’s Help Identifying Theft Suspect

ARANSAS PASS, TEXAS (News Release) - On February 28, 2025, an unidentified individual was captured on surveillance video entering the Walmart in Aransas Pass and making his way to the electronics department.

The suspect was observed examining a GoPro display case and repeatedly attempting to open it. After several attempts, he caused significant damage to the case, creating a large opening. He then removed two GoPro Hero13 cameras, concealed them in his hoodie, and exited the store without paying.
The suspect was last seen leaving the Walmart parking lot in a dark blue sedan, possibly a Chevrolet Cruze.
The Aransas Pass Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying this individual. Tipsters can remain anonymous, and information leading to an arrest may be eligible for a cash reward.
