BISHOP - (News Release) The Bishop Police Department was made aware of a recent social media post regarding several dogs found at a local residence in unsafe conditions and in improper housing.

This matter has been referred to the Bishop Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division and an active criminal investigation has been opened in the matter. Criminal charges are likely in this case.

Animal cruelty is a felony criminal offense and requires law enforcement intervention and response. If you see animal cruelty in progress please call police immediately and request both law enforcement and animal control response.
