American Bank Center Goes Fully Cashless

CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS (News Release) – The American Bank Center announces its transition to a cashless facility, aimed at enhancing the guest experience. This change, which will affect all transactions including parking, box office sales, and concessions, will take effect on Tuesday, July 1.

The American Bank Center is a vibrant entertainment complex owned by the City of Corpus Christi and managed by Oak View Group with OVG Hospitality.

Located in downtown Corpus Christi, Texas, this complex features a 10,000-seat arena that hosted its inaugural event on November 5, 2004, the Selena Auditorium, which can accommodate 2,600 guests and a Convention Center that offers 138,000 square feet of meeting and exhibit space.

The venue is home to various events, from conventions and trade shows to exhibitions, live performances, local sports games, and national televised wrestling, as well as local community celebrations, including graduations, weddings, and banquets.
