Abandon Vehicle Used for Human Smuggling

ROBSTOWN (News Release) - On December 5, 2022, at 12:16 PM, Nueces County Constable Precinct 3 office was informed by a concerned citizen of a vehicle that appeared to be abandoned on CR 73 south of CR 10.A vehicle that was left in the middle of a dirt road was stuck in the mud.

The vehicle appeared to have been used in the commission of the crime of human smuggling. The deputies investigation of the vehicle revealed that the vehicle was stolen out of Harris County.

The vehicle has since been removed from the roadway. Precinct 3 Constables office is asking the citizens to report any suspicious activity seen in the county to 361-886-2600 Corpus Christi Police Dept. or 911 during an emergency.
