Pilot Ejects Safely After Jet Crash Near Naval Air Station

KINGSVILLE, TEXAS - A military pilot ejected safely Tuesday afternoon after their jet crashed just south of Naval Air Station Kingsville, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The aircraft went down near County Road 1090 at approximately 3:45 p.m. The pilot survived and was reported to be in good condition.

Authorities said the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
