5th Person Booked in Kleberg County for Human Smuggling Within the Week

KINGSVILLE - On January 12 at 2:47 a.m., Kleberg County Sheriff’s office arrested a fifth person within the past week for illegal smuggling.

Jose Alemar from Brownville was booked last night for smuggling of persons and in possession of marijuana under 2 ounces.

On January 9, Odilion Guiterrez was charged with evading arrest, reckless driving, and smuggling. Later that same day, Merari Hernandez was also charged smuggling of persons and evading arrest.

On January 8, Mario Marquez was charge of smuggling of a person.

On January 7, Blanca Casa was also booked by Kleberg County Sherriff’s office of smuggling of a person.
