44-Year-Old Arrested on Multiple Louisiana Felony Warrants

On Wednesday, August 26, 2026, Nueces County Precinct 5 deputies requested assistance from Corpus Christi Police Department (CCPD) patrol officers in locating a wanted fugitive from Louisiana that was believed to be in the area.

Overnight, CCPD patrol officers located the suspect's vehicle at a motel near Leopard and Lantana, and with the assistance of the CCPD Violent Crimes unit, CCPD Gang unit, and Precinct 5 deputies, 44 year-old Lenny Mize, was taken into custody on outstanding felony warrants from 4 different jurisdictions in Louisiana on charges ranging from Burglary, Identity Theft, Aggravated Battery and Bank Fraud.

Mize was also found to have multiple firearms in his possession, one of which was reported stolen from Houston, Texas along with other suspected stolen property.

Lize is now facing additional charges of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by felon and other charges pending.
