You may have seen the latest craze that is sweeping the internet. A viral tweet suggests that NASA said Monday was the only day that a broom would stand on it's own because of the earth's gravitational pull. While there was no tweet by NASA to support this, it has gotten many people to try it.

So while many people did the trick yesterday…
The truth is, you can make a broom stand upright any day and it has nothing to do with the vernal equinox. On a broom, the center of gravity is low so you can use the bristles like a tripod. It can work any day of the year.
