It will be “game on” again at City gyms this winter. Get set for the Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department’s Winter 2022 Youth Basketball League. We are now accepting registration for girls and boys ages 6-13 (as of December 31, 2021). This eight-game season league will run from January 15–March 5, 2022, at the Corpus Christi Gym, 3202 Cabaniss Parkway, and Ben Garza Gym, 1815 Howard Street.
EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION is offered now through October 3, 2021, for only $65 per player. Act now and save money. REGISTER October 4 to December 5, 2021, for $80 per player. LATE REGISTRATION will be offered from December 6 to December 12, 2021, for the $105 late fee per player. SCHOLARSHIPS are available for up to 25 qualifying participants with required documentation. Our computer-generated system will place players on teams, so there will not be an evaluation. Coaches are allowed only one protected player on their team, their child.
Players will have the opportunity to sharpen their technical skills and challenge themselves against their opponents through weekly practice and games. The team structure will also help them develop physical, social, and mental skills.
