Texas A&M University-Kingsville will be hosting the Tejano Heritage Awards banquet at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2022. The banquet will honor the work and service of four leading Tejano alumni of the university.
There will also be a reception, prior to the banquet, to open an exhibition of César Martínez’s Bato/Pachuco/Ruca art series at the Ben Baily Art Gallery on campus. Martínez is one of this year’s Tejano Heritage Award honorees.
The Tejano Heritage Banquet and César Martínez exhibit are part of Texas A&M-Kingsville’s Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations.
