The second-annual Skate & Jam will include two food trucks, an art expo and craft vendors, live music by 4 local and regional bands and of course, competitions in skateboarding and rollerblading.
The skateboarding will consist of two categories: 13-17 years old and 18+
There will only be one category for the rollerblading.
Both the rollerblading and 18+ skateboarding will REQUIRE pre-registration and a fee which will go towards the winning prize pot. ALL CATEGORIES WILL HAVE A CAP OF 12 CONTESTANTS!
Competitions will start promptly at 11am with a 5 min. qualifying jam, then on to a 3 min. semi-final jam, and finals will be 90 second individual runs. All categories will go by this layout.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
11am: 13-17 age group skateboarding
12pm: 18+ age group skateboarding
1pm-2pm: Live Music by Mathias Isassi followed by Mariner Bay
2pm: Rollerblading
2:30: Live Music by Los Surfvivors
3pm: Best Trick Competition(s)
3:30: Live Music by Sound State of Mind
4pm: Winners Announced
