La Retama Central Library and the Junior League of Corpus Christi will host a free community event on Saturday, September 24, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at 805 Comanche Street. The gathering will provide children with hands-on opportunities to engage in science experiments and math activities.
The ROCKETS program (Raising Our Children’s Knowledge by Educating Through Science), hosted by many Junior Leagues across the country, enhances cognitive skills in children by focusing on science, technology, engineering, and math.
Since 2017, the Junior League of Corpus Christi has impacted over 3,500 local children through the ROCKETS program.
