As part of 90th Anniversary observances, join Del Mar College and the DMC Board of Regents in celebration of the grand opening of the newly renovated William F. White, Jr. Library on Thursday, April 10, at 1 p.m. on the Heritage Campus.
The celebration begins outside in front of White Library facing Creighton Plaza with remarks, a poetry reading, refreshments and ribbon cutting. Afterward, take a a guided facility tour on all five floors to see the remarkable transformation that brings this community resource into the 21st century after more than $28.2 million in renovations. Enjoy interactive activities and displays on each of the library’s five floors, including library and 90th Anniversary displays, the first floor Book and Bean Café, Stone Writing Center, Sculpture Gallery, the DMC Testing Center, class and conference rooms, study rooms and even the 360-degree view of Corpus Christi from the fifth floor.
Refreshments will also be available on several floors of the facility. Put on your walking shoes and join Del Mar College for an enlightening celebration and tour covering the resources available to DMC students, employees and the community on the Heritage Campus.
