As part of Hispanic Heritage Month, presenter Rosa Linda Reynoso, former staff writer/editor for the College Relations Office at Del Mar College, will provide a compelling exploration of the lives and contributions of migrant field workers as part of a Photo Exhibit and Lecture starting at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Sept.26, in the Center for Mexican American Studies, located in Room 133 of the Coles Building on Del Mar College’s Heritage Campus.
This event features a powerful photo demonstration paired with an insightful lecture designed to deepen understanding and appreciation for these vital members of our agricultural community. With her rich background in storytelling, Reynoso will provide historical context and personal narratives behind the photographs. Her presentation highlights the significant impact of migrant labor on the agricultural industry and explores the socio-economic challenges faced by these workers. The lecture is free and open to the public.
